Turn Telegram Voice Messages into Transcripts

Long voice notes are everywhere: a client explaining an order, a manager giving instructions on the way to a meeting, a supplier confirming prices. They are quick to send and slow to use, because nobody can search them or copy a figure out of them.

The Quantum-NoteMaster bot on Telegram turns those notes into text where you already are. You do not open a browser or upload a file. Send the note to the bot and the transcript comes back in the chat. The recording also appears in your workspace with the rest of your transcripts.

Sign in, open Transcribe and find the Connect Telegram card. Tap it, press Start in Telegram, and the chat is linked to the workspace shown on the card. If you belong to several workspaces, the card tells you which one Telegram is linked to and offers to use the current one instead. The connect link is valid for a short time, so tap the card again if it has expired.

The bot works in private chats only. Each person connects their own Telegram account, and everything they send uses the minutes of the workspace they connected.

Record a voice note in Telegram, or send an audio file of up to 20 MB, and the bot replies that it is transcribing. When the transcript is ready it arrives in the same chat. Paid plans also get the AI summary; on the free trial the bot sends a link to upgrade instead.

Voice notes from WhatsApp work too. In WhatsApp, share the voice note and choose Telegram, then the bot. It is often the quickest way to get a WhatsApp voice note into Quantum-NoteMaster from a phone.

Every note uses transcription minutes like a recording made in the app. If the workspace has no minutes left, the bot says so before anything is downloaded or saved. Send /usage at any time to see the plan and the minutes used this month.

The same bot keeps your trip expenses up to date. Type what you spent, for example "₦3,500 lunch, cash", and it is added to your most recent open trip, or to a new "Expenses" trip for the month if you have none open. Send /expense and then a voice note within five minutes to say an expense instead of typing it.

Send a photo of a receipt and it is saved to the trip with the photo attached. Add the amount as a caption and the row is filled in too. A receipt photo sent within ten minutes of a voice expense is added to that expense instead of starting a new one, and the bot tells you which expense it went to.

Record close to the phone and away from traffic or a generator. Say names and numbers clearly, and repeat an important amount once. If the note mixes languages, expect to check those stretches in the transcript.

For an expense note, start with the amount and what it was for: "Fifteen thousand naira, dinner with the distributor, cash." Short notes are harder to recognise, so a few extra words help. If you always speak your expenses in one language, set it under "I speak" on the Expenses page; the bot uses the same setting.

Send /disconnect to unlink the chat. Your recordings stay in the app. To link Telegram to a different workspace, open Transcribe in that workspace and use the Connect Telegram card again.

If your access to a workspace ends, the bot stops transcribing for it and tells you why. Nothing you sent before is removed from the workspace.
